Blind RIS Aided Ordered NOMA: Design, Probability of Outage Analysis and Transmit Power Optimization

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been widely acclaimed as a promising solution to enhance spectral efficiency, increase user fairness, and scale up the number of users in wireless networks by enabling share symmetrical resources. This work is concerned with development implementation blind reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided ordered NOMA (ONOMA) for smart reflector (SR) point (AP) configurations. For RIS-SR-ONOMA RIS-AP-ONOMA configurations, closed-form probability outage expressions derived, their performance reported distinct values passive elements. Through optimal power allocation, downlink (DL) sum capacity maximized. RIS-aided ONOMA reduces rates increases over traditional system.
